Dr. Cao attended the University of Houston, where he achieved his Bachelor degree in Exercise Science, along with a minor in Nutrition in 2013. He developed an interest in physical therapy and decided to get exposed to the field by working as a rehab technician in the acute and inpatient settings. He knew this was his calling, so he pursued higher education as a physical therapist. He attended the University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio Texas, and earned his doctorate of physical therapy in 2018. Through life endeavors and work experience as a physical therapist, he developed his personal philosophy, which emphasizes improving mechanical symptoms without the need for medication. He specializes in manual therapy, which allows him to unlock the body’s potential, relieve pain, and improve joint restrictions, ultimately allowing his patients to return to their active lifestyles. He strives to stay current with the latest techniques through his enrollment in a fellowship program at the Institute of Athlete Regeneration, focusing on an expertise in sports and orthopedic manual therapy.
